Hakuba and the surrounding Nagano region are rich in exciting mountain bike trails and offer numerous scenic trails for relaxing rides around mountain lakes and through small villages. In addition, there is a growing professional community of downhill racers, resulting in many new trail building projects, races, and annual events.

Downhill & Free Riding
Free Riding is just like the name implies, riding pretty much anything the area has to offer. Technical skill and balance are a prerequisite for this type of riding as we will be practicing narrow structure riding techniques, jumps, drops, steeps, hill climbing and cross-country riding. Shocks are not essential for this type of riding but it sure softens the impact for us mere mortals.

Multi-Day Bike Tours
There is no better way to see the back roads of Nagano. From our centrally located base in Hakuba we can venture out on numerous extended day trips. A moderate level of fitness and desire to seek out the back roads of rural Japan are all that you need. We can create a custom tour plan for your group or you can inquire about or scheduled 3 day tour from Nagano to Hakuba via some amazing cultural and natural areas in Northern Nagano prefecture. Mountain Bike Fun Ride
This bike tour is perfect for families, or novice to intermediate riders. We ride scenic trails around mountain lakes and weave through alpine trails.
