Evergreen Outdoor Center has two immediate openings from September 1st 2010 ~ , for the following positions:
- Office/Reservations Staff
Potential applicants should be comfortable conversing and writing in English, have some basic Japanese and ideally have experience in office/reservations type work. Applicants currently living in Japan who hold a valid work visa for Japan or are Japanese nationals who are bilingual are especially requested. This position will include basic training, then involve working with our reservations team doing daily office operations and receiving bookings. . We are accepting applications for the "Winter Season of 2010/2011" for the following positions:
- Ski Instructors (certification and experience essential)
- Snowboard Instructors (certification and experience essential)
- Backcounty Ski Guides (certification and experience essential)
- Office/Reservation staff (training provided for successful applicants
- Daycare staff (experience and certification preferred)
- Cafe Staff & Chefs (experience preferred)
- Shuttle drivers (must hold Japanese Drivers License or International Drivers License, be over 25 and have experience driving in the snow)
- Staff Lodge Manager/Staff Cook (Japanese ability for Staff Lodge Manager position is essential as is an assertive & mature personality. Staff cook position involves initiative working independently and experience cooking for large groups of people - staff lunches only)
Potential applicants should be English speaking (or have native English fluency level), have valid
instructors certifications for skiing or snowboarding, have experience
and/or guiding certifications in the outdoor tour/recreation
industry, have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates (guides/instructors/daycare staff only), and have a valid
